My passion for photography has been a
feature of my life for many years and was inherited from my
father who introduced me to the delights of an SLR camera at an
early age. With the advent of digital photography my hobby
really took off and I've been a keen member of a well known
photography site for a few years now. Take a look at my

I have had work
published both in the UK and South Africa as well as selling
framed prints of various subjects. My photos are
also in use on a number of websites.
My passion as a dog owner is something far more recent and
started about three years ago when my wife and
I rescued a Standard Schnauzer causing my life to change beyond
recognition! We are now all confirmed agility addicts
(especially Molly!). More recently we have got another
Standard Schnauzer puppy (Tinker) who is destined for agility
competition in the 2011 season!
After taking photos of
Molly at various
Agility classes and events our dog-owning friends encouraged me
to set up an outlet for my work. Ric Yates Photography is
the result and I hope everyone visiting this site will be able
to enjoy both my passion for photography and for dogs!
